I was paralyzed in 1995 from a tetanus shot/heavy metal poisoning. I remained paralyzed from the neck down on my left side and the chest down on my right side for nine years. In 2001, our family was blessed with a miracle baby (thanks God!). I have slowly gotten better since then. I can now sit unsupported, when I need to, and I have functional use of my left arm and hand (I could always use my right arm and hand) and I can drive! I plan to run in the New York City Marathon …eventually. :)

kelly, as you drove up to CVS drive-thru, I could tell that you were different. You had a great big smile on your face,,,,,, it is like nothing was going to get you down, and then you told me you could not get out, becasue you were paralized, well that blew me away. I am so glad I got to talk to you. I can clearly see how God is using you in a mighty way. As You drove off that night (Jan 4th) I could see who really had the joy of the Lord. Thankyou for being so sweet, you are showing others the true testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ. I would love to invite you to our church, First Baptist of Indian Trail, and come to the sunday school class of Harvey Wadells Class. Just ask anyone at church,,,,,,and they will tell you or show you were the class is, it starts 930am, and we have a great time worshiping God. Thanks againg Kelly, and I hope to see you again at CVS. Ask for Steve.

Kelly, I just finished reading your book “Walk it Out,” It was wonderful. I, too am paralyzed, I had a stroke 16 years ago, I have use of my right hand & I peck out my emails & letters. It was horrible at first, I hated re-hab. Shortly after the stroke I fell & broke my hip, had a hip replacement, but it sure messed me up, but I have accepted my condition & doing fair. At the end of your book & it told me to go to your web site & I could keep up with your progress, I can not find that, please help me.
Love, Prayers & Peace,
